I actually really enjoyed the outcome of this design considering the specs and time frame I was given.  I custom made a few of the letters and of course the rider.  For all you bike nerds out there, you should go to the event.  Its a one weekend bike everything in Ft. Pro Mod Dragsters

Last week I went along with my buddy and his 5 second 2000 horsepower rocket they call a Shelby and shot him and his friends cars.  They prep the cars for hours and run it down the track like 3 times all day into the night.  Cost thousands and usually something breaks.  I also posted a shaky video shot handheld with my 500 mounted to my 5d to give you an idea of being there.  I think I will stick to pedal power.

Nicaragua Photo trip

After being back home for only a few days I was given the opportunity to go chase a swell about to hit Nicaragua and shoot some barrels.  It was a total success and I had a blast with some friends.  On our day off we checked the island volcano in the middle of the Lake of Nicaragua.  Pretty cool!  Here are a couple shots...the better ones are held for mags.

Shooting the triathlon swim / lifeguarding....

So after shooting handful of triathlons I have been after a few images stirred up in my head.  Sunday I made another attempt at the FAU triathlon, a local one close to my house with lots of my friends competing (including my friend Nikki who won womens overall!).  I swam out to the first buoy turn and bobbed up and down in the 2-4ft swells.  The conditions made it nearly impossible to get what I was after but I had fun and helped save a couple people, camera in hand.  Here are a few shots.

Surfers for Autism Time Lapse

This is a time lapse from our Non profit organization Surfers for Autism at their first beach event of the year.  I set up a cam on the 7th story of the Howard Johnson in Deerfield on a balcony arm rail and let it shoot for about 6 hours.  Mixed in are a few stills I got before I had to leave and shoot a wedding the same day.  Enjoy!
